Your Well-being in Our Care

We have been closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and are following guidelines from the World Health Organisation (WHO) and Myanmar Ministry of Health and Sports. We understand there are many concerns during this time and wish to assure our Guests that their and our colleagues safety and well-being and are of paramount importance to us.

OUR PEOPLE

All our colleagues are equipped with PPE(Personal Protective Equipment), they followed training programs on use and disposal of PPE, personal health and hygiene, and improved sanitization standards, especially housekeepers and those in guest-facing roles.

We enhanced cleaning and sanitization of all Back of The House areas using Government listed disinfectants with a focus on high-frequent and high-touch areas.

All staff are measured their temperature at the beginning of the shift. Those who do not meet the required standard are sent back to their homes or to a health facility for an inspection.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

As a precautionary measure, your temperatures will be checked on Arrival and you will be requested to fill-out health and travel declaration form and to show a negative test result issued at the leatest 36 hours earlier.

Signage on the floor serve as gentle reminder for our Guests to maintain safe physical distance.

Hand sanitizing gels will be available at reception and at other convenient locations in the resort.

GUEST ROOMS

We increased frequency of cleaning and sanitization of all air conditioner units and fans, sanitisation and rigorous inspection process with attention to high-touch items.

Our HouseKeepers are observing safe distancing and limited in-stay during service.

Government listed disinfectants are used for sanitization.

Linen and towels are also sanitized using high temperature washing process.

A single daily morning cleaning will be guaranteed. If you also wish an evening/turndown service, please request it at the Reception.

If you during your whole stay you desire nobody will enter your room (and no daily cleaning service will be done), please inform the Reception.

Momentarily we must give up using the more ecological water dispensers for normal complimentary plastic bottles. A supply of 2 bottles per room per day is established but if you want more you can ask for them at the reception. The supply of minibar is on request. COMMON AREAS

Safe distancing practice is encouraged reducing allowable capacities.

Frequency of sanitization of all public areas, washrooms and high-touch surface is increased.

RESTAURANT AND BAR

Only “A’ La Carte” service will be available at the restaurant, but in case you prefer you can ask for Room Service.

The frequency of sanitization is increased with the use of authorized food safe disinfectants.

Seating capacity has been adjusted to follow safe distancing guidelines, as well as partition between tables. If you wish a partition on the table please ask to your waiter. We encourage guests to make advanced reservation.

Group size limitation or separate area for small groups may be requested.

Tables are set-up with a minimal setting.

LEISURE AND WELLNESS

Using the services of a SPA must be a pleasure, it must give well-being and comfort. That’s why we are studying the best procedures to enjoy massages and therapies in absolute safety, but we are sorry to inform you that until we are sure that this level is reached our SPA remain closed.

Sandoway Resort provide an outdoor pool, less risky than indoor pools because of increased air flow.

Our pool is open and social distance between sunbeds has kept. By the way, chose the right time to go inside the water, the morning is the best time when water had time to be well-filtered and well-chlorinated overnight and or many people have swum in it yet. Wear a mask at all times, except while you are swimming.

At the sea side entrance of the pool is available a table with hand sanitizer and register where you are kindly requested to write your name, room number, number of people, your arrival time at the pool and your departure time from the pool.

Toilets are available at the ground floor of The Library but we are sorry to inform you that our Pool Bar will remain closed. For any drinks or snacks please ask at the main bar at the Restaurant.
